Our Services
Daily worship and community support — here is how Canolfan Iman Centre serves our community today, with more programmes in development.
Worship
Daily Prayer & Congregational Worship
Please note: our five daily prayers are still being fully established, so the masjid may not be open at every prayer time just yet. Please check with us or call ahead before visiting outside Jumu'ah, or see our Prayer Times page.
Five Daily Prayers
Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha — see our prayer times.
Jumu'ah
Friday khutbah (sermon) and congregational prayer, open to all. Arrive early as the hall fills up.
Taraweeh
Nightly Taraweeh prayers throughout Ramadan — see our Ramadan page for details.
Eid Celebrations
Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha prayers and community celebrations for the whole family.
Jumu'ah — important notices.
- Building works: The 1st floor prayer area is temporarily restricted to a maximum of 100 worshippers and will be closed once the limit is reached. The ground floor prayer hall is also available.
- Parking: Please do not park on Glyn y Marl Road — this is a residential street and can be very busy. Parking is available for 60 minutes on the main Conway Road, at the nearby Asda store, or at the car park opposite Tandori Junction restaurant on Osborne Road.
Community Support
Zakat, Sadaqah & Food Drives
We collect and distribute Zakat and Sadaqah to those in genuine need, both within our community and beyond, and run regular food drives to support local families facing hardship.
- Zakat calculation guidance and collection
- Sadaqah (general charity) for ongoing needs
- Food parcels and emergency support referrals
- Confidential support — just ask the Imam or a committee member
